Pear Cut Diamond

A pear cut diamond (also referred as tear-drop diamond) is cut with a unique combination of round brilliant cut diamond and marquise cut diamond with a tapered point on one end. These diamonds come in variety of slim to wide cuts with ratio ranging from 1.40 to 1.60. Like marquise, the Pear shaped diamonds make the finger of the wearer look elongated and slimmer.
